First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:
My goal was to come to class early.
also another goal was to learn higher vocabulary.
my goal was to learn more and more about grammar.
i also wanted to learn how to chart the text.
My last goal was to do better presentations.
Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.
How to Chart a Text:
You have to read the article carefully.
Understand what the author is trying to talk about and then write it.
After writing down what the author is saying.
Think about what the author is doing and then write it.
When you are charting the text, you have to number the paragraph.
